Join us to celebrate the Full Wolf Moon on Sunday January 12th

This is the first full moon of 2020, called the full Wolf Moon because this was the time when we more often heard the howling of wolves in the forests. The name originates from Native Americans, who revered as much as they feared wolves. The medicine of the wolf is the medicine of the teacher. We often thing of the “lone wolf” metaphor, but in truth, wolves run in packs. They are so individualistic, because they so clearly belong to community. They teach each other what they most want to learn.

What magic do you have beneath the surface that you want so badly to share? What part of you needs to express itself? *

This full moon occurs in Cancer, opposite a stellium (Saturn, Pluto, Mercury, Sun) in Capricorn. Themes of home, family, nurturing and intuition blend with the ideas of purpose, business and prosperity. Along with the collective swell of new years intentions, it’s a time to let go of links from the past and forge a new path. This is a time to release with love, to midwive ourselves through great changes both seen and unseen.

In line with the idea that like any good celestial wolf-pack, we all truly belong, a portion of the proceeds will go to Jubilee Women’s Center .

We will gather from 7-9pm to bring community, ceremony and spellcraft to the occurrence. This may or may not be like other celebrations you’ve attended. We will blend ritual, writing, and movement. But more importantly, we will blend our hearts to stir up the courage needed so badly in the world today. Please bring a journal and writing utensil.

If you want to pay the day of, register and choose “pay day of" and you can pay what you like— we take cash, venmo and paypal. Preregistration is required. Invite your friends!
